ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE (Santa Clara)

Position Summary

Agora.io’s Account Executive will be responsible for driving and gaining customer adoption of Agora.io’s technology. Reporting to our Director of Sales, you’ll drive sales cycles with key accounts, negotiate and close major deals with targeted customers, and be a key team member driving the company’s and your own growth potential.

Responsibilities

  • Execute full lifecycle sales processes achieving short-, mid- and long-term sales objectives.
  • Ensure sales and revenue targets are achieved in line with set objectives.
  • Engage potential customers, using industry standard “best practice” sales and account management techniques, including, calls, email, video conferences, in-person meetings social media, referrals, etc.
  • Update and maintain all sales process and reporting tools, including CRM, weekly sales reports, account planning etc.
  • Provide account leadership and direction in the pre- and post-sales process.
  • Work with BD, Demand Gen, Prod Marketing and other function to convert ideas into revenue.

Required Skills, Experience and Competencies

  • 3-5 years of experience and success performing strategic and direct product/services technology sales; strong preference will be given to candidates coming from sales roles in a similar domain, such as mobility, broadcasting, audio/video, SDKs & APIs, and unified communications;

Position Summary

Agora.io is hunting for a great content marketer to join our marketing team and help build out our content strategy and execution. We are looking for someone who is a born storyteller, loves writing, and who is passionate about driving content that generates excellent business outcomes.

Our Content Writer/Manager will write white-papers, case studies, website copy, blog posts and legendary advertisements. You’ll apply your creativity and proven business writing skills to help build our brand and tell our story, to help Agora.io achieve its growth goals. 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee content production across channels, working collaboratively with our developer marketing, product marketing, and core marketing teams, ensuring effective content is created and promoted across all relevant channels.
  • Develop cutting edge white-papers that drive brand awareness.

  • Create website content that targets both developers and product owners.

DEVELOPER EVANGELIST (NJ/Tri-State Region)

Position Summary

Agora’s Developer Evangelist will be our functional ambassador, trainer and guide-to-all-things for the developer community. As a partner to our Sales/BD, Engineering, Marketing and Product teams, deliver outstanding content, technical expertise and support in a variety of formats for all relevant audiences.

The mission of the Developer Evangelist team is to win the hearts and minds of Developers to secure the future of the platform. As a Developer Evangelist, you’ll be instrumental in building a large and vibrant community for Agora real-time communication cloud services.  You’ll build and nurture great relationships with developers online and offline, create amazing sample codes, be our developer ambassador, trainer and guide-to-all-things for the developer community.  You will also be a key partner to our Sales/BD, Engineering, Marketing and Product teams, delivering outstanding content and feedback to internal teams to improve developer experience. 

Responsibilities

  • Design and create reference applications and sample codes that closely match our target customer use cases. Publicly share the source code on Github, blog posts, and other developer channels.
  • Create and deliver training content, tutorials, starter kits, best practices, and provide feedback on Agora developer documentation as needed.
  • Champion relevant Agora products and services to your target community at conferences, meetups, coding boot camps, online forums, Twitter, Stack Overflow, Hacker News, and more.
  • Evangelize new Agora services, features, and products to the technical stakeholder community.

SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE (SDR)

Position Summary

SDRs work with prospective customers to address their embedded real-time communications needs. Our SDRs serve as the front-line in our customer engagement efforts, responding to product and sales inquiries as well as trial accounts who have installed our products. The SDR will qualify leads and ultimately drive opportunities to the sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound leads generated by various lead generation programs.
  • Qualify and appropriately distribute qualified sales lead to the appropriate team for engagement.
  • Develop targeted outbound campaigns;
  • Target prospective key account engagements;
  • Make outbound calls to generate leads.
  • Nurture and manage SMB/Long-tail leads within assigned region.
  • Continuously maintain and update sales pipeline reporting tools.
  • Evangelize Agora product offerings across territories or named accounts.
  • Conduct on-going research to identify new leads, vertical market opportunities.
  • Achieve quarterly qualified sales leads and lead generation goals.

Required Skills, Experience and Competencies

  • At least 2 years of experience in SDR or inside sales role in a SaaS environment.
  • Very comfortable on the phone and able to handle high volume email traffic; ready to engage customers all day, every day.
